How does ProfitIQ get my profit data?

ProfitIQ connects directly to your Shopify store via the official Shopify API to pull your orders and COGS (cost of goods) from your inventory. You then connect Google Ads and Meta Ads to bring in your ad spend. We combine all three to calculate your true net profit.

Does ProfitIQ charge a percentage of my revenue?

No. ProfitIQ is $29/month flat. No percentage of revenue, no per-order fees, no hidden charges. Billing is handled securely through Shopify Payments.

How do I set up COGS (cost of goods)?

ProfitIQ reads the unit cost from Shopify's inventory system (Shopify Admin → Products → select a product → scroll to Inventory → Cost per item). Once set, costs sync automatically with your next order sync.

How often does data sync?

Shopify orders sync daily at 3 AM ET. For real-time events (new orders, refunds), we use Shopify webhooks so your dashboard stays up to date throughout the day. Google Ads and Meta Ads spend syncs once per day.

Can I manage multiple Shopify stores?

Yes. Our agency plan lets you manage multiple clients from a single login. Each client's data is fully isolated. Contact us at caden@cprogrowth.com if you need more than the default client limit.

How do I connect Google Ads?

Go to ProfitIQ → Integrations → Google Ads → Connect. You'll be redirected to Google to authorise access. ProfitIQ only requests read-only access to your campaigns and spend data.

How do I connect Meta (Facebook) Ads?

Go to ProfitIQ → Integrations → Meta Ads → Connect. You'll be redirected to Meta to authorise your ad account. We only request read access to your ad spend.

What happens when I uninstall ProfitIQ?

When you uninstall the app from Shopify, all your data is deleted from our systems within 48 hours, including your orders, metrics, and credentials. You can also request immediate deletion by emailing caden@cprogrowth.com.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All credentials (Google, Meta OAuth tokens) are encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet) before being stored. Data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database in the US-West-2 region. We never sell your data to third parties.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time by uninstalling ProfitIQ from your Shopify Admin → Apps. Your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period. No cancellation fees.
